Previously called Sakura but renamed Equity, because Lush stands by the importance that equity plays in creating more inclusive spaces. Taking an equitable approach in all we do means we prioritize meeting the unique needs of individuals to support their success.

On January 24th 2025, we renamed three of our bath bombs — Thermal Waves, Sakura and American Cream — to Diversity, Equity and Inclusion in the U.S. This followed Executive Orders requiring federal agencies in the U.S. to end DEI programming and commitments. While this started as an issue specific to the United States, we have made the decision to change the names of these bath bombs globally as a simple but clear action affirming our support and belief in the value of diversity, equity and inclusion all over the world.
